Behavioral Analyst (BCBA) Adult Program

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a full-time, compassionate, and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide behavioral support to adults with developmental disabilities. This position requires travel between the main hub and program locations throughout Dutchess County.

Position Overview

The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supports adults within residential and day habilitation programs under OPWDD. This hands-on, primarily onsite role focuses on behavioral assessment, intervention planning, staff training, data analysis, and ongoing clinical support for individuals with a wide range of functional abilities.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with adults who may have complex behavioral and medical needs and is willing to provide direct, in-person support.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain current knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related diagnoses.
• Conduct annual and ongoing behavioral and skill-based assessments.
• Develop, implement, train, and oversee behavioral support and intervention plans.
• Maintain data collection systems and utilize data analysis to support clinical decision-making.
• Provide clinical consultation and guidance to program staff regarding behavioral supports.
• Utilize effective communication strategies to promote collaboration and information sharing.
• Develop participant-specific and program-level reports and summaries.
• Participate in agency training initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor staff within the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) program.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Active BCBA certification required .
• 1–3 years of experience in human services or a related field preferred.
• New graduates will not be considered unless they have prior direct field experience before becoming a BCBA.
• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable working with adult populations and performing physical job demands.
• Must be willing to provide hands-on support, including toileting assistance and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
