Job Description - Firewall mandatory Required Information Details 1 Role Technical lead, L2 2 Required Technical Skill Set Network security L2, L3, Palo alto firewall 3 Desired Experience Range 10 years Location: Pan India Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have Network security L2, L3, Firewall, Routing and Switching Good-to-Have SolarWinds, Splunk, WAF Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role 1 Planning, configuring, and deploying firewall systems across various platforms. 2 Involved in designing, implementing, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and protocols. 3 Creating and maintaining firewall rules and policies to align with security standards. 4 Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity, and analyze logs to identify potential threats. 5 Performing regular maintenance, upgrades, backup,monitoring and patching of firewall devices and related systems. 6 Collaborate with other IT teams and departments on security-related projects, and communicate findings and recommendations. 7 Participating in on-call rotations and responding to security incidents related to firewalls. 8 Interacting with vendors for support and troubleshooting 9 Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.
