Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $120000.00 - $136000.00
AMN Healthcare has been retained to identify a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Hematology/Oncology to join a highly collaborative outpatient oncology program in Chicago, Illinois.
This is an exceptional opportunity to deliver patient-centered cancer care within a supportive, team-based environment focused on mentorship, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Position Highlights
- Predominantly outpatient oncology setting
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model
- Manageable patient volume (approx. 5–7 patients/day)
- Strong emphasis on training, mentorship, and professional growth
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage treatment plans for hematology/oncology patients
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans
- Educate patients and families on treatment and supportive care
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (NP program)
- Active Illinois NP license (or eligibility)
- 2+ years of Hematology/Oncology experience required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Oncology experience highly preferred
- No visa sponsorship available
