Safety Officer

<p>We are hiring for EHS / Safety at Jaipur Location. </p><p><br /></p><p>The position will be responsible for: </p><ul><li>Monitor and maintain Safety management system at the site. </li><li>Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Fire protection system. </li><li>Conduct site inspection &amp; round and identify unsafe practices &amp; condition and suggest closure action </li><li>Handling of work permit system and conduct Site Risk assessment of the job and authorize work permit for activity. </li><li>Conduct JSA/ HIRA along with line function for all activity. </li><li>Manage and enforce Contractor Safety Management protocolsPrepare MIS reports for circulation &amp; tracking. </li><li>Conduct incident Investigation reports and suggest for CAPA and tracking it for closure. </li><li>Support ISO 14001 &amp; ISO 45001 activities in terms of documentation requirement and implementation. </li> </ul><p>Conduct Safety awareness training down the line. Plan and execute mock drill at the site as per plan. </p><p><br /></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities: </strong> </p><p>Strategic </p><ul><li>Develop safety management system &amp; procedures in line with site requirement. </li><li>Facilitate comprehensive safety awareness training to ensure all employees are informed and aligned with safety protocols Conduct HIRA (Hazard Identification Risk Assessment) along with line function for critical jobs </li><li>Monitor the effectiveness &amp; implementation of CAPA &amp; their loop closure. </li><li>Ensure workplace inspection at site equipment's. </li> </ul><p><strong>Operational &amp; Financial </strong> </p><ul><li>Conduct safety prime audit &amp; round and identify unsafe practices &amp; condition and suggest closure action </li><li>Participate in Incident Investigation through use various tools to reach to the Root cause and suggest recommendations to avoid recurrence. </li><li>Monitor implementation of the above system and procedures at shop floor level. </li><li>Conduct Site Risk assessment of the job and issue work permit for critical jobs including toolbox talk </li><li>Control the contractor’s activities for safe execution. </li><li>Good Knowledge of various types of Personal Protective Equipment's and application. </li> </ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>Education: </strong> B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry / Diploma in Chemical Engineering. </p><p><strong>ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) </strong> preferred </p><p><strong>Experience: </strong>3-5 years’ experience in EHS/ Safety </p>
