Role Description: The TGT Mathematics Teacher will deliver structured and engaging mathematics lessons to middle and secondary school learners, aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards. Responsibilities include planning and preparing lesson plans, assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will design classroom activities that build conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning, while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Additional duties include participating in staff meetings, parent interactions, school events, and ongoing professional development initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role located at Kothari International School, Panvel. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely related field. Strong subject mastery in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accurately. Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to design age-appropriate, outcome-focused learning experiences. Qualified Teacher status with relevant teaching certifications and experience instructing middle or secondary school learners. Effective classroom management, inclusive teaching practices, and the ability to support diverse learning needs. Strong communication skills, collaboration with colleagues, and a commitment to continuous professional growth. Comfort with using educational technology and digital tools to enhance teaching and assessment. Experience in CBSE or similar curricula and prior work in progressive or international schools is an advantage.
