The Role

Own scripts and concepts for short-format ad films end to end — from first idea to a shootable/generatable script. Scripts run 10–30 seconds. Whether it's shot as a DVC, TVC, or AI film is a production decision — your job is the idea and the script. Corporate films fall under this too, but only the creative and script side — not production.

With AI, almost anything is now possible on screen. The constraint isn't execution anymore — it's ideas. This role is about idea maxing: pushing creative thinking as far as it can go in the shortest possible format.

What We're Looking For

Creative thinking, first and always — original ideas over safe ones Ability to think short — 10 to 30 seconds. Every word has to earn its place. 2–4 years of experience writing ad films / scripts, with roughly 8–10 scripts or ad films to show for it Agency experience is a plus Good with business and brand research — understands the brand and its tone before writing for it Technically sound writing — structure, pacing, dialogue, format discipline Super strong research discipline — no writing without it Strong written English — non-negotiable Open to feedback and quick at revising direction Comfortable presenting and pitching ideas, not just writing them Willing to take ownership of a script end to end Hardworking

What You'll Do

Develop original concepts and scripts for short-format ad films (10–30 sec) and corporate films (creative/script only) Build storyboards alongside scripts to communicate the full narrative Write in the brand's tone and voice, not just about the brand Collaborate closely with the creative team and present ideas Write scripts that can be shot traditionally or generated with AI, depending on the project

A note on growth: As the team grows, junior writers and interns will report into this role.

Compensation: Competitive
