SAP OTC (SD) Consultant – Vertex Tax Integration

Job Description: IntVerse Inc. is hiring an experienced SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC/SD) Consultant with hands-on Vertex tax engine experience to join our India delivery team. You'll be deployed on a global Wave 2 rollout running through go-live and hypercare into July 2027, with continued opportunities across our SAP portfolio thereafter. Location: India Employment Type: Full-Time Start: Immediate What you'll do: Lead OTC/SD workstream design and configuration for Wave 2 scope — order management, pricing, billing, credit management, and revenue postings Configure and validate tax determination in SAP integrated with Vertex , including external tax condition types, tax procedure setup, and jurisdiction determination Own the SD-side of the SAP–Vertex interface: tax calculation calls, document-level tax reporting, and reconciliation between SAP billing documents and Vertex tax registers Translate business tax requirements into SAP configuration and Vertex mapping rules alongside the tax and finance teams Drive functional unit testing, SIT, UAT, and regression cycles for OTC and tax scenarios Support data migration, cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare with defect triage and resolution Partner with FICO, MM/PTP, and ABAP teams on cross-module and interface dependencies What you'll bring: 7 years of hands-on SAP SD/OTC configuration experience 5 years of relevant business domain experience 1–2 years working with Vertex integrated with SAP (tax determination, external tax interface, jurisdiction and product taxability mapping) Strong understanding of order-to-cash end-to-end process flows and integration touchpoints with FI and MM Experience across full-lifecycle implementations or rollouts — design through go-live and hypercare Proven ability to work with global stakeholders and distributed teams Nice to have: SAP S/4HANA experience Exposure to indirect tax compliance and reporting Prior multi-country or multi-wave rollout experience How to apply: Send your resume to or with subject line "SAP OTC – Vertex Wave 2".
