Supervises onsite civil construction activities, subcontractors, field crews, safety compliance, quality inspections, and project schedule execution. Job Requirements Previous experience supervising civil construction activities on industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects Knowledge of excavation, grading, underground utilities, grouting, stormwater systems, storm piping, and general site development Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple field activities Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules Experience monitoring field productivity, quality, safety compliance, and schedule performance Ability to work onsite in an active construction environment OSHA safety training or comparable construction safety credentials Preferred Skills Experience coordinating civil work with project managers, engineers, contractors, and site personnel Experience sequencing excavation, utility, grading, grouting, and stormwater activities Experience conducting construction quality and workmanship inspections Experience maintaining daily field reports and contractor performance records Knowledge of site safety policies, construction regulations, and inspection requirements Job Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate onsite civil construction activities Oversee subcontractors and field crews performing excavation, grading, grouting, underground utility, storm piping, and related civil work Monitor daily construction progress, productivity, safety compliance, and project schedule performance Coordinate field activities with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other site personnel Review construction drawings, plans, specifications, and schedules before and during field execution Verify that civil work is completed according to approved project requirements Conduct field inspections of workmanship, materials, and completed installations Identify and resolve construction conflicts, field conditions, and sequencing issues Support planning and sequencing of site activities to minimize delays Enforce site safety policies and applicable construction regulations Document daily activities, progress updates, field issues, and contractor performance Report schedule risks, quality concerns, and safety issues to project leadership Pay: 38-51/hr Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
