Qualifications:

• Hold a current 310 endorsement and a valid state license to practice as a School Social Worker.
• Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse backgrounds.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education processes preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, parents, and community agencies.

• Assess and address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs through intervention, counseling, and support services.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs, contributing valuable insights to help shape student success.
• Provide crisis intervention and develop strategies to support students facing significant challenges.
• Facilitate communication between students, families, and staff, ensuring a coordinated approach to student well-being.
• Develop and implement preventive programs on topics such as bullying, attendance, and conflict resolution.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical requirements.
