Steel Slitting Machine Operator

Job Location: - Dar es Salaam, Tanzania Qualification : Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification. Experience Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Steel Slitting / Coil Slitting operations. Job Description: Operate and supervise Steel Slitting Machines for coils of minimum 0.75 mm thickness. Handle machine setup, production parameters, troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) . Monitor production, product quality, machine performance and minimize downtime. Coordinate with Mechanical & Electrical teams for maintenance and breakdown resolution. Ensure compliance with safety, housekeeping, quality, and production standards while reducing machine downtime.
