We’re Hiring | Robotics & Automation Application Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 2–6 Years
Qualification: B. E./B. Tech/Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation
EVIO is looking for a hands-on, self-driven Robotics & Automation Application Engineer to develop, integrate, and commission robotic automation solutions for industries across India.
Key Responsibilities
* Program and commission robots for machine tending, palletizing, welding, pick & place, assembly, and material handling
• Integrate robots with PLCs, preferably Siemens TIA Portal / S7-1200 / S7-1500
• Integrate servo drives, VFDs, sensors, HMIs, safety systems, and industrial networks
• Support basic machine vision integration with robots and PLCs
• Develop robotic prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and customer demonstrations
• Perform robot selection, cycle-time studies, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Handle site installation, commissioning, FAT/SAT, and customer support
• Willingness to travel across India
Preferred Experience
Experience with FANUC, KUKA, and/or Yaskawa robots will be an advantage.
