Role Description

This full-time, on-site Finance Lead – Chartered Accountant role is based in Mudigere and is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations. The role includes preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting cycles, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Finance Lead will monitor cash flows, budgets, and forecasts, provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, and collaborate with internal teams on cost control and profitability initiatives. Daily responsibilities also include using accounting software for accurate record-keeping, supervising finance staff, coordinating with auditors, and maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a valid membership from the ICAI.
• Experience leading or supervising finance teams and working closely with senior leadership.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work on-site in Mudigere.
• Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, or commodities trading is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a diversified business group.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Kannada is a must.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience in agribusiness, manufacturing, or commodities trading is an advantage.
