The Digital Sales Specialist serves as a digital-first sales professional focused on supporting small business clients through inbound channels such as phone, chat, and online inquiries. This role acts as the first point of contact for entrepreneurs researching products, responding to marketing, or seeking guidance on business banking solutions. Specialists use a collaborative, doittogether approach to help clients explore and select the right financial products while delivering a seamless, professional, and confidencebuilding experience all while maintaining exceptional service, disciplined followthrough, and strong digital proficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
-Engage small business clients through inbound calls and digital channels, providing warm, professional, and efficient service.
-Conduct needsbased discovery to understand business structure, goals, eligibility, and product fit.
-Present eligible business banking products clearly and accurately; guide clients through digital applications and online tools.
-Support lending, deposit, card, and lineofcredit conversations using an integritybased sales model.
-Utilize Next Best Action strategies to determine appropriate transfers, support needs, and client pathways.
-Maintain accurate and timely Salesforce documentation, including contact tracking, opportunity updates, and lead management.
-Review and manage your sales pipeline daily; update records promptly to support forecasting and followthrough.
-Participate in team huddles, coaching sessions, and ongoing skills development to strengthen product knowledge and sales capability.
-Follow AWS status guidelines to remain available for inbound contacts and ensure smooth queue management.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically three to more years of customer service, sales and/or prospecting experience

Preferred Qualifications
-Experience in sales, customer service, financial services, or digital support roles.
-Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
-Understanding of small business financial needs or products.

- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting and demonstrates the ability to confidently communicate with underwriters

- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and can convey business recommendation in an effective manner

Shift Requirements: 9:45am to 6:15pm central standard time Monday through Friday

Location Expectations

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $33.01 - 40.35
