G&S Services is a 50+ year old, family-owned convenience store company based in Colorado — and we're looking for an Assistant Manager for one of our Denver locations. The pay range above reflects hourly wages plus typical overtime and performance-based bonus potential, not a flat salary.
What you'll do:Support daily store operations — cash control, security, checklists, vendor orders and deliveriesHelp maintain product quality, mix, and inventory levels to hit monthly targetsStep into store manager responsibilities, including store-level decisions, when the manager isn't presentLead by example: show up, work hard, and set the tone for customer serviceKeep the store safe and running smoothly — including regular checks of the pumps, carwash, signage, and groundsBe a visible, trusted presence in the community
What we're looking for:Retail, food service, or convenience store experience preferredExcellent customer service skills, with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilityOpen availability — this is a hands-on role, minimum 40 hours/week, that may include nights, weekends, and holidaysValid driver's license and reliable transportationComfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periodsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
