Provide senior Databricks and Azure platform expertise to design, implement and evolve

enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient,

scalable and aligned to business, regulatory and operational requirements. The resource

should have deep experience across Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure networking,

identity management and cloud security patterns.

· Provide technical leadership for the Databricks platform architecture, including

workspace design, cluster strategy, data storage architecture, security controls, CI/CD

integration, environment management and platform engineering best practices to support

current and future business demand.

· Ensure platform resilience, performance and operational excellence through proactive

monitoring, capacity planning, cost optimisation, performance tuning, incident

management and root cause analysis across development, test and production

environments.

· Lead the implementation of platform governance and security controls, including access

management, Entra ID integration, RBAC, network isolation, private connectivity,

auditability, data protection and compliance with enterprise architecture and regulatory

standards.

· Provide ongoing platform support and technical stewardship, working alongside internal

engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues, improve platform reliability,

establish operational standards and ensure effective knowledge transfer and long-term

platform sustainabilit
