Job Summary: The Commercial Loan Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the administration of commercial loan portfolios, including, but not limited to, loan administration, processing commercial credit applications, due diligence processing, portfolio servicing, compliance regulations and documentation standards. This role ensures compliance with TSF Credit Policy.  The Specialist will work closely with the Director of Loan Administration to support the overall goals of the department. This position works with high dollar loans and lower volume processing than the commercial lending market.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare, review, process and maintain accurate loan documentation, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, while striving to increase productivity and turnaround times.Conduct due diligence to verify all conditions and requirements are met before closing.Coordinate with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate the loan closing process, including funding and data entry. Ensure all loan activities comply with TSF Credit policy and NAASA guidelines.Work closely with the Director of Loan Administration and other teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.Identify and resolve issues related to loan administration, including discrepancies and client concerns. Escalate complex issues to the Director of Loan Administration when necessary.Review monthly loan payments and prepare loan statements.Calculate and process monthly and weekly loan payments.Post incoming checks.Fund construction draws. Process disbursement request for lines of credit
QualificationsEducation: College degree or equivalent industry experience required.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial loan administration, or a related field.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable speaking with church staff and various vendors in the industry.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. xzbcwsv Ability to pivot in job role to aid overall team success.
