The facility operates within a structured inpatient environment designed to facilitate coordinated urological care delivery across consultation and emergency department settings. Appropriate on-site resources and administrative support systems are in place to support clinicians throughout each assigned coverage period.

Southern Alabama's Gulf Coast offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and family-oriented activities, including dolphin cruises, kayaking, and wildlife experiences at a Gulf Coast zoo, alongside attractions such as the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park and Gulf State Park. The region features dining and entertainment destinations, as well as cultural stops including Bellingrath Gardens and OWA Amusement Park. Inland options include Gantt Lake, which spans approximately 2,747 acres with 21 miles of shoreline and supports fishing, watersports, and camping.

This locum tenens assignment requires a urologist to provide 24-hour inpatient coverage on an on-site basis, managing inpatient consults, rounding, and ED consults across weekday shifts. Clinicians will operate in a solo capacity and maintain availability for call obligations throughout all designated coverage periods. An average volume of approximately 10 patients per day is expected. Board certification in Urology is required for consideration.
