Network engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to manage and maintain enterprise network infrastructure in a KPO/RCM environment. The role involves ensuring high availability, data security, and performance optimization for critical healthcare operations while maintaining compliance with industry standards such as HIPAA.

Key Responsibilities

Network Management & Operations

Design, implement, and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime and availability Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis Manage firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers

Security & Compliance

Ensure adherence to HIPAA and data security standards Implement network security policies, firewalls, and access controls Monitor and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities Conduct security audits and compliance checks

Infrastructure & System Support

Support voice networks (Vo IP) and telephony systems (important for RCM operations) Maintain network documentation and configurations Collaborate with IT, application, and operations teams for seamless system integration Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery readiness

Performance & Optimization

Analyze network traffic and optimize bandwidth utilization Implement monitoring tools for performance tracking Support scalability for growing operations and client requirements

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and service providers Manage hardware procurement, installation, and upgrades Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams

Key Requirements

3–6 years of hands-on experience in network engineering / IT infrastructure Experience in KPO, BPO, or Healthcare RCM environment preferred Strong knowledge of: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP Routing & Switching (Cisco, Juniper, etc.) Firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, etc.) Experience with VPNs, MPLS, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure preferred) Understanding of network security and compliance standards (HIPAA preferred)

Qualifications
