Our client, a national fiduciary firm backed by a global asset manager, is seeking a Wealth Director in New York. The New York office runs five established teams, each built around a substantial book of business, and one team is missing its hunter. You would originate relationships with high-net-worth families, primarily $10 million and above, across the tri-state area, then partner with relationship managers, portfolio managers, and trust officers who handle the day-to-day servicing. Every team carries dedicated business development associate support for research, prospecting, and CRM, plus subject-matter experts for prospect meetings and events. There is no banking platform to feed you, and that is by design. Your network is the platform. The compensation follows the same logic: a strong base, commissions on what you source, and trailers that reward you for years on the relationships you bring in.
You are a proven, self-sourced producer with a portable pipeline of prospective clients, and you can describe it in specifics, with names withheld: asset levels, last contact, length of relationship, and the story behind each one. You have advised or sold to families holding $10 million or more, your centers of influence are attorneys and CPAs rather than a branch referral program, and your job history tells a story of building something rather than escaping something, because you will be asked to walk through every move. Credentials such as the CFP, CFA, or a law degree are respected here, but a pipeline that produces is respected more. xzbcwsv
