To support mission-driven initiatives, the full-time remote Grant Accountant will process financial transactions, prepare financial records and reports, and ensure compliance with fiscal rules and policies while guiding management in financial decision-making. Key responsibilities Prepare and submit sponsor invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all information Maintain compliance with accounting regulations and audit guidelines, auditing financial records and resolving discrepancies Perform final reviews of awards and project expenditures, and prepare Federal Financial Reports as required Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree 1-3 years of experience in sponsored project administration or professional accounting Knowledge of 2 CFR 200 and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with financial reporting and compliance in a federal grants context
