Senior Project Manager

Our client is a well-established national general contractor with a strong presence across the Northeast and a growing portfolio of complex commercial construction projects throughout New Jersey.

They are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team in Rahway, NJ. This position will play a key role in managing projects from preconstruction through completion while working closely with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and field leadership.
This opportunity is well-suited for a Senior PM who is comfortable taking ownership of large-scale projects, managing project teams, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Project & Market Focus:Ground-up and large-scale commercial constructionHealthcare, senior living, multifamily, and other complex commercial projectsProjects throughout New Jersey and the surrounding Northeast marketStrong focus on quality, schedule, budget, and client relationships
Key Responsibilities:Lead projects from preconstruction through final completionDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and overall project plansManage subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administrationReview and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentationCoordinate closely with Superintendents and field leadership throughout constructionMaintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendorsMonitor project costs, schedule performance, and overall executionIdentify and resolve project issues while maintaining project objectivesLead project meetings and communicate regularly with internal leadership and clientsMentor and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and other team members
Qualifications:8+ years of experience in commercial construction project managementStrong background managing ground-up construction projectsExperience managing projects from preconstruction through completionStrong understanding of project budgets, xzbcwsv schedules, contracts, and cost controlExperience managing subcontractors and project teamsStrong communication, organizational, and leadership skillsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
