Mobility Device Support Specialist (T-Mobile)

Job Description

Salary: $45,760 - 49,920 per year Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience setting up mobile devices, including both Apple and Android platforms.
  • 1 year of experience in mobile phone services is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn new software.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A service-focused mindset.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint: 2 years.
  • Experience servicing wireless devices: 2 years preferred.
  • Ability to commute to Woodland Hills, CA 91367.
  • Day shift availability.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including sitting or standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 pounds.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up and configure mobile device hardware and software to complete incoming orders.
  • Use internal systems and carrier tools to support fulfillment workflows.
  • Follow company configuration procedures and device setup standards.
  • Maintain working knowledge of complex vendor profiles across clients and carriers.
  • Configure smartphones and other mobile devices.
  • Support large-scale projects driven by customer requests and orders.
  • Track devices, tasks, and projects accurately in Google Sheets.
  • Deploy devices according to customer requirements.
  • Assist the team lead with testing and validating installed devices as needed.
  • Provision devices and accessories based on client needs.
  • Prepare device and accessory shipments within required timeframes.
  • Assist with inventory control.
  • Support the device recycling process.
  • Help train new project team members.
  • Collaborate with the HelpDesk team to support client initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with peers, management, and clients.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
