Furniture Draughtsman (Custom Furniture, Millwork & Wardrobes)

About the Role

We're looking for an 5-8 yrs experienced Furniture Draughtsman with expertise in custom furniture, millwork, and wardrobes for luxury residential projects . You'll prepare accurate production drawings, coordinate with design and production teams, and ensure every drawing is technically sound, manufacturable, and aligned with project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, and architectural millwork.
• Develop joinery details, sectional drawings, hardware details, and manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate with designers and production teams to ensure drawings accurately reflect the approved design intent.
• Resolve technical and production-related challenges during manufacturing.
• Revise and update drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and production feedback.
• Ensure all drawings comply with manufacturing standards, quality requirements, and installation feasibility.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in custom furniture, millwork, and wardrobe detailing for luxury residential projects.
• Strong expertise in furniture detailing, woodworking, joinery, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience preparing production drawings for wardrobes, paneling, loose furniture, and bespoke millwork.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of furniture hardware, materials, construction techniques, and production workflows.
• Ability to interpret design concepts and convert them into accurate production drawings.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Drive).
• Strong documentation, coordination, and communication skills.
