Role Description The Assistant Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhubaneswar, supporting the daily operations of the front office at PAL Heights Hotels. This position assists in supervising front desk staff, managing check-in and check-out processes, and ensuring a smooth guest experience from arrival to departure. The role involves handling guest inquiries and escalations, coordinating room assignments, and maintaining accurate records in line with hotel policies and standards. The Assistant Front Office Manager collaborates with other departments to address guest requests, supports training and scheduling of front office team members, and helps monitor service quality and customer satisfaction. The role also includes overseeing cash handling, billing procedures, and adherence to safety and security protocols in the front office area.
Qualifications
Strong Front Office and Customer Service skills, with the ability to manage guest interactions professionally and efficiently. Experience in Office Administration and Customer Satisfaction, including record keeping, process coordination, and service quality monitoring. Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and management. Previous experience in hotel front office is a must Working knowledge of hotel management or property management systems like IDS AND STAAH and basic MS Office tools. Ability to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on guest-centric service. Complete knowledge of managing OTAS.
