We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior SAP Product Costing (CO-PC) Consultant with a robust background in SAP S/4 HANA financial solutions to join our offshore delivery team supporting global S/4 HANA implementations.
Position Overview
A senior, hands-on role in which the successful candidate will play a pivotal part in designing, building, and optimising end-to-end product costing reporting solutions, bridging complex financial business processes with advanced S/4 HANA CDS views and BW4/HANA. The ideal candidate brings over 10 years of implementation and advisory experience, with deep technical proficiency in modern reporting tools, including CDS (Core Data Services) Views and Analysis for Office (Af O).
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation
•   Lead the end-to-end design and deployment of SAP CO-PC reporting from various data sources such as BW and S/4 HANA.
•   Architect scalable product costing solutions aligned to business requirements and S/4 HANA best practices.
•   Drive fit-to-standard workshops, SIT/UAT cycles, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare for CO-PC scope; manage stakeholder sign-offs using SAP Activate methodology.
Advanced Analytics & Reporting
•   Assist development teams in building custom CDS Views tailored to complex product costing and variance analysis requirements.
•   Design and optimise CDS-based reporting layers on top of SAP Universal Journal (ACDOCA) for cost transparency and variance drill-down.
•   Develop BW4/HANA models to support financial controlling reporting and period-end analytics.
Executive Reporting with Af O
•   Build, maintain, and optimise Analysis for Office (Af O) workbooks and reports to deliver intuitive financial dashboards, cost roll-ups, and Inventory reporting.
•   Translate complex CO-PC data models into user-friendly planning templates and management reports for executive consumption.
Stakeholder Management
•   Conduct workshops with finance and controlling stakeholders; translate business needs into detailed technical specifications.
•   Oversee system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and end-user training across CO-PC workstreams.
•   Collaborate across functional and technical workstreams to ensure seamless, high-quality delivery.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory
Experience: Minimum 10+ years of total IT experience focusing on SAP Financials, with a heavy emphasis on CO-PC (Product Costing) across multiple full-lifecycle implementations.
Core CO-PC Expertise: Deep knowledge of product cost planning, standard cost estimates, order/process-based cost controlling, periodic costing runs, Material Ledger (ML), and Actual Costing.
Technical Proficiency – CDS Views: Strong hands-on experience in extending and consuming ABAP CDS Views specifically for financial and controlling data models.
Reporting Tooling: Extensive experience designing interactive financial reports and planning templates using SAP Analysis for Office (Af O).
S/4 HANA Knowledge: Proven experience working in SAP S/4 HANA environments, utilising Universal Journal (ACDOCA) architecture and modern reporting paradigms.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills with the ability to lead functional and technical workstreams independently.
Preferred Qualifications
•   Professional certification in SAP S/4 HANA Management Accounting (CO) — preferred but not mandatory.
•   Experience in the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry.
•   Prior exposure to SAP BW4/HANA Info Providers, Composite Providers, and LSA++ modelling.
•   Familiarity with SAP Fiori-based CO reporting applications.
Education & Certifications
Education: Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, IT, or Engineering preferred; Bachelor’s with equivalent experience considered.
SAP Certification: SAP S/4 HANA Management Accounting (CO) Certification is a strong plus.
Experience: 10+ years total SAP experience; 7+ years in SAP CO-PC / Product Costing; proven multi-lifecycle S/4 HANA implementations.
Work Schedule: Flexible shift hours as required by project / UK Time Zone is normal shift.
