Will Call Counter Sales PersonPosition Summary: The Will Call Counter Salesperson is responsible for introducing the product to the clients and increasing the sales of the product. Will target the established clients and organizations in the market. All sales personnel are encouraged to continually strive to develop and sustain relationships.Duties and Responsibilities:Meet and communicate with walk-in customersPresent a professional image at all times to customers and vendorsEstablish friendly relations with customers and maintain ongoing relations with the customersUnderstand the needs and expectations of the customers and provide relevant solutionsHandle the traffic of customers and ensure proper attention to every customerAnalyze the choices and financial capacities of every customer and suggest suitable productsOffer different alternatives to customers in their preferred choice of productDemonstrate the methods of using products and resolve customer queriesResponsible to close sales deals and achieve customer satisfactionCall up the prospective customers, explain details of the different products and services offered and convince them to buy the productsMake efforts to achieve the short term sales targets and improve goodwill of the organizationNote suggestions and complaints made by the customers and report them to your managerResearch the market for new competitive products introduced and the marketing strategies adopted by competitorsEducation and Experience Required:HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institutionPrevious 1-2 years sales experience requiredPreferred Education, Experience, and Skills:Associate's Degree in Business/MarketingFastener sales experienceGood organizational skills, management skills and ability to be energeticStrong computer skills and math aptitudeExceptional verbal and written communication skills with high level of confidenceKeen attention to detail and a sense of urgencyPhysical Requirements: Qualified applicants must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to work in a hot, humid, and cold manufacturing environmentMust be able to work in crowded spaces for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to bend and crawl for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to climb ladders for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to sit, stand, and walk for 6+ hours per shiftMust be able to perform simple grasping, push, pull, perform fine manipulation, and feel for 6+ hours per shiftMust be able to operate foot pedals for 4+ hours per shiftMust be able to make fine distinctions in sound, express and exchange written or spoken words, and distinguish objects and equipment visually
