Job Title: Junior Accountant Intern

Location: Ahmedabad, India

Duration: 6 Months (Paid Internship)

About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant Intern to support day-to-day accounting operations and financial processes. This internship is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

Real-Time Accounting

Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts in Tally Ensure accuracy in financial entries and transactions

Transaction Management

Support handling of daily accounting transactions including invoices, purchase orders, debit notes, and credit notes Maintain proper documentation and records

Financial Reporting

Assist in preparing petty cash reports Support account reconciliations for payables and receivables

Payment Processing

Help ensure timely payments to banks, vendors, and suppliers Assist in monitoring cash flow

Compliance & Documentation

Support compliance-related tasks, filings, and documentation Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements

MIS Reporting

Assist in preparing MIS reports and financial data for management

Audit Support

Coordinate with auditors and assist in internal and external audits

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B. Com preferred), or candidates currently in their final year or recently graduated. Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply Basic knowledge of Tally and accounting principles Familiarity with MS Excel / Google Sheets Understanding of GST and compliance is a plus
