Job Description
The Sigma Kappa National Housing Corporation is seeking a collaborative, strategic leader to ensure safe, sustainable, and positive living and learning environments for collegians. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Housing Experience leads housing operations, member experience, property-management support, projects, data, compliance, and resources for participating local house corporations, chapters, and national volunteers.

What You’ll Do· Set the strategy for a consistent, safe, and engaging housing experience across participating properties and chapters.· Advise corporation boards, facility committees, chapters, advisors, and volunteers on occupancy, long-range planning, resident experience, facilities, and property-management practices.· Guide maintenance, inspections, vendor relationships, construction, and capital-improvement workflows in partnership with staff and stakeholders.· Oversee housing agreements, leases, assessments, property and project records, benchmarking, operational procedures, and compliance.· Use data, research, and industry trends to improve services and report progress to executive and board leadership.· Supervise the housing specialist; equip staff and volunteers through training, tools, communications, and practical resources.
What You Bring· Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.· Five or more years of successful experience in property or project management, nonprofit or association administration, collegiate housing, residence life, training, or customer service.· Working knowledge of project management, facilities operations, and housing-related risk and compliance.· Proven leadership, facilitation, delegation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.· Excellent organization, analysis, judgment, communication, and follow-through.· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, project/workflow systems, and online communication platforms; Salesforce, Basecamp, or experience is a plus.· Greek-letter organization membership is preferred; chapter house living experience is beneficial.
Additional DetailsThis role requires occasional travel for property visits, projects, training, and organizational activities, as well as successful completion of a background check. The Sigma Kappa NHC’s benefits package includes health insurance, health savings account contribution, 401(k) and match, and generous PTO and paid holidays.
Salary range: $92,000-$96,000 annually, commensurate with experienceLocation: We are located in Carmel, Indiana; position may be onsite, hybrid, or remoteStatus: Full time, exempt
