Role Description

The Freelance Interior Designer role at Builrode is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. In this role, you will develop interior concepts, create detailed design layouts, and collaborate with project teams, architects, and contractors throughout the construction and renovation process. Daily responsibilities include space planning, selecting finishes and furnishings, preparing design presentations, and coordinating FF&E specifications to meet client requirements and project budgets. You will visit project sites, review progress, and ensure that design intent and quality standards are maintained. The role also involves client consultations, documentation of design changes, and support in resolving on-site design challenges.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional, aesthetic layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings, including the ability to read, interpret, and coordinate with multidisciplinary project plans.
• Experience with FF&E selection and specification, ensuring appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings aligned with design and budget goals.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Solid understanding of building materials, construction processes, and local regulations relevant to interior projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and cross-functional teams on-site in Noida.
• Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior experience in construction or renovation projects is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
