Internal Medicine Veterinary Surgeon Are you a dedicated veterinary professional seeking a role that offers both professional growth and a supportive work environment? Responsibilities Work as part of a team handling a large and complex caseload. Support first‑opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral services. Assist with diagnostic imaging including CT scanner and commercial laboratory. Collaborate with day and night teams in a 40‑hour week with alternating shifts (9am‑7pm or 12pm‑10pm), a Saturday 1:3 rotation, Sunday 1:6 rotation, and fair on‑call duties. Participate in surgical procedures including advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgeries. Qualifications Qualified Veterinary Surgeon and eligible to register with the RCVS. Either hold an internal medicine certificate or be working towards one. Alternatively, a strong general practice veterinarian with a keen interest in medicine and diagnostic imaging. Benefits Competitive salary up to £73,000. 6.6 weeks annual leave, including bank holidays. Private Medical Insurance with BUPA. Annual CPD allowance up to £2,000 and up to five paid CPD days.
