About the role

We're hiring an engineer to connect devices and sensors to our software and keep it running in production. You'll own how data gets from the device to the cloud, and how it's deployed and monitored.

We care more about how you think than which tools you've used. If you understand why systems break and how to make them scale, you'll pick up the rest.

What you'll do

• Connect devices and sensors to our systems and make the data flow reliably
• Design setups that keep working as the number of devices grows
• Set up the automation and pipelines that ship and run it all
• Find root causes in production and fix the design, not just the symptom

What we're looking for

5+ years building and running real systems. Hands-on IoT or device integration experience, any stack. Working DevOps experience: CI/CD, cloud, containers. Solid fundamentals in networking and data flow. A habit of choosing simple, scalable solutions over heavy ones.

Nice to have

Familiarity with MQTT or similar protocols. Experience with industrial or SCADA systems.

Job Specification

• Practical experience developing or supporting IoT systems, device connectivity, gateways, and telemetry workflows.
• Proficiency with at least one programming or scripting language used for services, automation, or device integration.
• Understanding of common IoT communication patterns and protocols, such as MQTT, HTTP, or related messaging technologies.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms, Linux administration, containers, and service deployment.
• Experience creating CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure or repeatable environment configuration.
• Ability to configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting for distributed systems.
• Working knowledge of network fundamentals, access control, secrets management, and secure deployment practices.
• Strong debugging, documentation, collaboration, and production incident response skills.
