Secret or Top Secret Cleared Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly Secret or Top Secret Cleared Mechanical Engineer with Thermal Vibration experience to support the development and qualification of advanced aerospace, defense, radar, EO/IR, missile, and space-based systems. This position will be responsible for analyzing the thermal and dynamic behavior of mission-critical hardware to ensure survivability and performance in extreme operational environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing thermal and structural analyses using finite element methods (FEA) and will serve as a key technical contributor throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through environmental qualification and flight testing. Responsibilities Perform thermal analyses to predict component, subsystem, and system-level temperature distributions during operational and environmental conditions. Conduct structural and dynamic analyses including: Modal Analysis Random Vibration Analysis Shock Analysis Frequency Response Analysis Harmonic Analysis Develop and maintain finite element models (FEMs) for aerospace, radar, missile, spacecraft, and electronic systems. Evaluate thermal and vibration performance against customer requirements and environmental specifications. Perform trade studies to improve structural durability, weight, thermal performance, and overall system reliability. Required Qualifications Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Structural Engineering, Physics, or related STEM discipline. 5+ years of experience performing thermal and structural analysis in aerospace, defense, space, or related industries. Experience with finite element analysis (FEA). Experience conducting thermal and vibration assessments on complex systems. Understanding of: Heat Transfer Thermodynamics Structural Mechanics Dynamics Fatigue Shock and Vibration Theory Ability to develop analytical models and interpret test results. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Insight Global is actively hiring multiple candidates for this role so exact pay will vary based on candidates overall level of experience, depth on knowledge, types of SAR Radars supported and Clearance level. However, we anticipate paying 150K - 187K for these openings as well as providing a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and 401K insurance
