Native West Nursery is a leading native plant nursery in California and growing quickly through our reputation for technical knowledge, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are adding talent to our team looking for someone to be our Retail sales and Marketing Coordinator.
Successful applicant will be knowledgeable and passionate about plants native to the Pacific and the southwest. They will be a friendly and welcoming and enjoy helping customers have great experiences with native plants. They will be comfortable with sales and expanding our customer base with an eye towards business growth and marketing.
Position requirementsValid and clean CA Driver’s LicenseWork in full sun, inclement weatherSome physical labor moving and maintaining plantsAbility to lift 50lbsOccasional speaking opportunities engaging the communityOrganized, driven, self-starterCustomer service orientedWork well with an established teamFamiliar with plant botanical namesFamiliar with southern California native plant communitiesAvailable to work weekends where necessary
Nice to haveGraphic design/ marketing experienceBilingual English/ Spanish Design backgroundBachelor’s degree
HoursFull time around 40 hours per week.
Pay
$20- $25 per hour to start, depending on experiencePaid sick, vacation and holidaysCompany contributed medical, dental and vision insuranceDiscretionary annual profit sharing
