Medical Receptionist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join a well-known healthcare organization in Kearny Mesa. This is a full-time opportunity for a customer-focused professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment and providing exceptional service to patients. The schedule requires full open availability Monday–Sunday between 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM, with employees working five 8-hour shifts per week.

Responsibilities:Greet and check in patients while providing a welcoming and professional experienceSchedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointmentsAnswer high-volume incoming calls and assist patients with questionsVerify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentationEnter and maintain accurate patient information in electronic medical records and scheduling systemsCollect copays, payments, and other patient account information as neededCoordinate with medical staff, providers, and other departments to support efficient patient flowAssist with referrals, authorizations, and other administrative healthcare processesMaintain accurate and confidential patient recordsProvide professional and compassionate customer service to patients
Qualifications:1+ year of experience in a medical receptionist, front desk, clerical, or customer service role preferredHealthcare or medical office experience strongly preferredExperience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) or scheduling systems is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environmentComfortable handling confidential and sensitive patient informationStrong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quicklyMust have full open availability Monday–Sunday between 6:00 AM and 10:30 PM.Must be available to work five 8-hour shifts per week, including weekends as scheduled
