Role Description:The Dispatcher is a full-time, on-site role based in the Woodlake, CA. This role coordinates daily transportation and delivery schedules, ensuring products move efficiently between warehouse locations and customer sites. The Dispatcher monitors routes, responds to delays or issues, and updates schedules as needed. Responsibilities include communicating with drivers, warehouse staff, sales personnel and customers; maintaining accurate logs and documentation; and using dispatch software or systems to track orders and shipments. The role also involves prioritizing orders, supporting safety and compliance standards, and collaborating with operations leadership to optimize service and productivity.
Starting hourly rate: $19.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with sales staff and customers to coordinate purchasing ordersReceive, process, and prepare orders for pickup or deliveryCoordinate product transfers between locationsCoordinate shipments via trucking companiesProvide load requirement information to all driversComplete orders accurately and in a timely mannerOperate truck scalesComplete weight tags, bills of lading, and hazardous material shipping documentsReceive product-order inquiries via phone and emailProvide direction and instructions (verbal and written) to customers and employeesTrack and maintain inventory of products stored in warehouse and in bulk storageCalculate total quantities of product by weight and/or volumetric measurementsPerform customer service duties as needed by responding to calls and visitors in a professional mannerProvide backup and assistance to other dispatchers/employees by answering phones as neededAssign and monitor drivers throughout routesPerforms other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Ability to function in high stress xzbcwsv situations and adapt to changing circumstancesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of general purchasing operations and/or agricultural fertilizer and pesticides preferredExcellent customer service skillsBilingual in English/SpanishProficient with computers (Microsoft Office, scheduling and similar software)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma1+ year of experience of agriculture fertilizer and pesticides preferred1+ years of experience working as a Dispatcher or in a similar capacity preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Sitting for long periodsStanding, walking, climbing stairsFinger mobility and graspingTwisting, bending, stooping and reachingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform physical labor under adverse field conditions
