A growing organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in financial reporting, internal controls, month-end close, and corporate accounting within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:Own and support month-end close activitiesPrepare journal entries and account reconciliationsSupport financial reporting and analysisAssist with SOX compliance and internal controlsPartner with Finance and Operations teams on accounting initiativesSupport audit activities and process improvementsParticipate in systems and process enhancement projects
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or active progress xzbcwsv toward CPA preferred6+ years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of U.S. GAAPExperience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reportingPublic accounting and/or government contracting experience highly preferredERP experience preferredStrong Excel and analytical skills
