Staff Accountant - Contract, Hybrid Opportunity Leading software company is looking for a Staff Accountant in Weston, FL, to join our Revenue Accounting team on a contract basis. Shift of the Staff Accountant: Hybrid Twice from office. Monday & Tuesday in-office days. (Wed, Thu, Fri from office) Pay Rate/Salary of the Staff Accountant: $35/hr Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant: Assist with SOX compliance initiatives, including process documentation and control evidence gathering. Assist with technical accounting research and documentation related to ASC 606 revenue recognition. Analyze revenue-related data and support special projects related to system, process, and business changes. Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement efforts. Qualifications of the Staff Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting. 3+ years of accounting or audit experience. Strong understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance.
