The OpportunityWe are representing a highly respected North Carolina law firm seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join its established Trusts & Estates practice in Winston-Salem.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an attorney with at least five years of estate planning experience who enjoys developing long-term client relationships and delivering thoughtful, commercially focused advice.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced attorneys within a collaborative regional practice, handling sophisticated private client matters and contributing to the continued development of the team.
Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise individuals and families on estate planning and wealth preservation strategies.Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney and other estate planning documentation.Assist with trust and estate administration matters.Advise clients on succession planning, asset protection and wealth-transfer arrangements.Work with clients and their advisers to develop effective estate planning solutions.Manage client matters independently and maintain high standards of client service.Collaborate with colleagues across complementary practice areas where required.
Candidate RequirementsAt least five years of relevant estate planning experience.Strong experience drafting estate planning documentation.Knowledge of trust and estate administration procedures.Experience advising high-net-worth individuals or business owners is advantageous.Excellent legal drafting, analytical and communication skills.Strong academic credentials.North Carolina Bar admission or eligibility for admission.Ability to manage client relationships and matters with minimal supervision.
