Role Description

The Warehouse Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi, responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, safe, and efficient handling of solar equipment and materials. This role includes receiving and checking incoming stock, organizing and labeling inventory, and preparing orders for dispatch through careful packing and staging. The Warehouse Assistant will assist with inventory counts, update stock records, and coordinate with the logistics and installation teams to meet project timelines. Day-to-day tasks also involve operating material handling equipment where authorized, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment, and following safety procedures and company policies. The role may include occasional interaction with customers or delivery personnel to facilitate smooth order collection and distribution.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock levels and records.


• Candidates should possess skills in Packing to prepare and protect equipment and materials for storage and delivery.


• Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or other material handling equipment, with proper certification where required.


• Candidates should possess skills in Customer Service to handle basic inquiries and support order pick-ups professionally.


• Basic computer literacy for using inventory or warehouse management systems.


• Ability to lift and move materials safely, and follow health and safety guidelines.


• Strong attention to detail, time management, and reliability in meeting daily operational tasks.


• Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is an advantage.
