Job Description
Wholesale apparel company has an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Designer in our NYC Showroom working with our design team.
Responsibilities:
- Sketching and digital illustration in Illustrator
- Create CADs
- Creating and editing prints in Illustrator
- Tracking inventory/ update catalog weekly
- Track samples
- Check in and spec pre production goods
- Hang and steam samples
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be organized
- Must be proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Acrobat (at least 2 years illustrator)
- Excel, Word, Outlook
- Previous fashion Design Internship Experience Preferred
