In this role, the Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan and provide treatment programs for patients whose injury, disease, or loss of body part interferes with daily functioning. Provide skilled intervention using a variety of techniques that are appropriate to achieving the identified goals. You'll have the opportunity to work in adult acute care. Work with a dynamic, experienced staff, caring for a diverse population. This position will provide OT services at Milstein Hospital (177 Fort Washington Ave, New York, NY 10032). The services are provided for inpatient orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery, medicine, cardiac, ICU, and oncology areas. This is a full-time position for dayshift, Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, with additional Sundays and holidays as per PHOTA contract. Preferred Criteria

• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification.
• AOTA Membership.
• Two years of working experience in a hospital-based acute care setting.
• Experience with post-surgical spine, stroke, and medical/surgical populations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• New York State Occupational Therapy License - must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Limited Permit as per New York State Act for Occupational Therapists.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Demonstrates competency in clinical skills consistent with the level of education, training, and experience.
