Senior Missile Defense System Architecture Engineer

Lead or support analysis of future Missile Defense System architectures and concepts: capability gap assessment, analysis plans, MDS simulation runs, and M&S tool development.

Req: TLS-26-047 | Location: Fort Belvoir, VA (On-site) | Clearance: Secret | Level: Sr. | Experience: 7+ years | Education: Bachelor's (4-yr)Key Responsibilities:Assess missile defense system capability gaps, challenges, needs, and opportunities against current and future threats to develop potential architecture solutions that mitigate gaps and/or improve performanceAssist in developing analysis plans, execute MDS simulation tools, post-process and assess analysis results, and prepare architecture analysis briefs/reportsSupport modeling & simulation (M&S) efforts related to the above to tailor tools to specific analysis plansRequired Qualifications:Active Secret clearanceAbility to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceBachelor's Degree in a STEM Field with 7+ years of experience in missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/projectSolid understanding of the current MDS architecture and future conceptsExperience in modeling, assessment, and evaluation of future missile defense architecturesStrong skill in interpreting results and presenting findings clearlyExcellent ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as collaboration with others to achieve objectivesStrong time management skills and the ability to assess tasks based on their importance and urgencyDesired Qualifications:Active TS/SCI ClearanceExperience with AFSIM or similar MDS simulation tools/frameworksBackground in IAMD/Cruise Missile Defense systemsBackground or experience with space systemsExperience with the definition and use of advanced concepts and algorithms for the M&S of MDS architecturesExperience supporting systems engineering-related architecture design activitiesHow to apply: Apply on LinkedIn or at /careers.
