Role Description This is a full-time, on-site faculty role based at the Roorkee campus, with openings for Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering/AIML, and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, designing and updating course curricula, preparing lesson plans, and conducting tutorials and lab sessions. Faculty members are expected to guide student projects, supervise research, publish scholarly work, and participate in academic reviews and accreditations. Daily responsibilities include mentoring learners, evaluating assessments, maintaining academic records, and contributing to departmental initiatives and committees. Engagement with industry, organization of workshops, conferences, and technical events, and active participation in institutional development activities are also part of the role. Qualifications Strong academic background in Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), or Electronics and Communication Engineering, with relevant teaching and research experience. Advanced degree in a related discipline (Master’s required; Ph.D. preferred for senior positions) from a recognized institution. Demonstrated ability to design and deliver outcome-based curricula, manage labs, and use modern teaching methodologies and educational technologies. Active research profile with publications in reputable journals and conferences; experience in guiding student projects and research preferred. Excellent communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to learner-centric, inclusive, and ethical academic practices. Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, contribute to accreditation processes, and engage with industry and professional bodies. Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in CSE/AIML and ECE, and willingness to continuously upskill and adopt innovative pedagogical approaches.
