SOC Analyst

Purpose of Job

To monitor, analyze and triage security alerts through security monitoring solutions, including SIEM, EDR, XDR, NDR, Threat Intel and SOAR. The role supports the identification and reporting of potential security incidents in accordance with defined SLAs and coordinates with relevant teams to facilitate incident resolution and improve alert quality.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Security Monitoring & Alert Analysis: Actively monitor and analyze security alerts using security monitoring solutions, including SIEM, EDR, NDR and SOAR.


• 2. Log Analysis & Incident Triage: Perform log analysis and triage security alerts to identify potential security incidents.


• 3. Incident Reporting & SLA Compliance: Report security alerts and incidents in accordance with defined service-level agreements (SLAs).


• 4. Incident Coordination & Resolution: Coordinate with relevant teams to support the investigation and resolution of security incidents.


• 5. Alert Tuning & False-Positive Reduction: Work with SOC solution administrators to fine-tune alerts and reduce false positives.

Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security from HEC-recognized university.


• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC).


• Experience in operating and managing SOC solutions, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR NDR, Threat Intel and Case Management.


• Experience in log analysis and triaging security alerts.


• Relevant professional certifications will be preferred
