Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Azar - El Paso, TX 79912Position Type: Full TimeDuties: Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists. Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work. Record production, repair, and machine information. Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machine maintenance information. Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment. Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust. Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities. Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance (Repairs: Fixing leaky faucets, pipes, and toilets, Clogs: Clearing drains and sewer lines, Installation/Replacement: Installing new fixtures, water heaters, or sections of pipe, System Checks: Testing water pressure and ensuring proper water flow) and carpentry functions (Repairs: Fixing or replacing damaged wood or similar furniture/equipment, Finishing: Installing paneling and painting). Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties. Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications. <p></p> Position Requires Used of the Following Tools and Materials <p></p> Adjustable Wrench – For tightening or loosening nuts and bolts. <p></p>· Pipe Wrench – For gripping and turning pipes. <p></p>· Plunger – Clearing clogs in sinks and toilets. <p></p>· Drain Snake / Auger – Unclogging drains. <p></p>· Tape Measure – Accurate measurements for both tasks. <p></p>· Hammer – Driving nails and general repairs. <p></p>· Screwdrivers (Flathead &amp; Phillips) – Fastening screws. <p></p>· Power Drill &amp; Bits – Drilling holes and driving screws. <p></p>· Hand Saw or Circular Saw – Cutting wood. <p></p>· Level – Ensuring straight and even installations. <p></p>· Safety Gear – Gloves, goggles, and dust masks. <p></p>· Wrenches (adjustable, socket sets, torque wrenches)<p></p>· Pliers (needle-nose, slip-joint, locking)<p></p>· Hammers (ball-peen, rubber mallet)<p></p>· Allen keys / Hex keys <p></p>· Drills (corded or cordless)<p></p>· Grinders <p></p>· Electric saws (reciprocating, circular)<p></p>· Multimeter (for electrical testing)<p></p>· Clamp meter <p></p>· Calipers and micrometers <p></p>· Tape measure <p></p>· Laser level <p></p>· Thermometers and infrared temperature guns <p></p>· Bearing pullers <p></p>· Gear pullers <p></p>· Lubrication tools (grease guns)<p></p>· Vacuum pumps (for HVAC)<p></p> Experience required: 12 months of experience as Maintenance Technician. <p></p> Skills: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. with assistance, stand, walk, and work in an environment where stooping, twisting and bending are frequent throughout the workday. Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery. Able to inspect equipment and identify issues. Hands-on skills.
