We're looking for an experienced Gas Service & Repair Engineer to join our growing team. This is a dedicated service, certs, breakdown, fault-finding and repair role for an engineer who genuinely enjoys diagnosing problems and getting heating systems working properly. We are recruiting installation engineers separately, so this role is specifically for someone whose strengths lie in servicing, diagnostics and repairs. You'll work predominantly in private residential properties across South London, supported by an experienced office and technical team.
Servicing domestic gas boilers and heating systems to a high standard
Diagnosing boiler and central-heating faults accurately
Carrying out effective repairs and resolving breakdowns
Attending heating and hot-water call-outs
Identifying required parts and follow-on works accurately
Communicating clearly with customers and the office team
Completing service records, certificates and job information using our digital systems
Delivering a professional and respectful service in customers' homes
Essential Qualifications & Experience
Current Domestic ACS qualifications, including CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 , as applicable.
Strong domestic boiler service, repair and breakdown experience.
Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
Experience across domestic heating and hot-water systems.
Full UK driving licence.
Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
High standards of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
Good communication and customer-service skills
A professional, reliable and positive approach
Experience with unvented hot-water systems and additional relevant qualifications would be an advantage.
If you're a skilled, experienced engineer who values high standards and wants to work with a team that values the same, we'd really like to hear from you.
Technical ability is essential — but so are professionalism, reliability and the way you look after customers.
We're looking for someone who:
Has excellent boiler diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Takes real pride in the quality and detail of their workmanship.
Enjoys solving problems rather than simply replacing parts.
Is experienced, reliable, organised and professional.
Takes ownership of a job from diagnosis through to resolution.
Communicates confidently and respectfully with customers.
Treats customers and their homes with care.
Works well independently but enjoys being part of a team.
Is comfortable making appropriate recommendations to customers.
