Job Description – Pre-Sales Executive (Interior Designer Background)

Location: Alankaram Showroom, Wilson Garden (Near Lalbagh Botanical Garden), Bengaluru

We are looking for passionate Interior Designers who enjoy interacting with customers and helping them create beautiful living spaces.

Role Summary

As a Pre-Sales Executive, you will be the first design consultant customers interact with when they visit our showroom. Your role is to understand their lifestyle, design preferences, space requirements, and budgets, and guide them towards suitable furniture collections while creating an exceptional luxury buying experience.

You will work closely with the Sales Team to convert enquiries into successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Experience

• Welcome walk-in customers professionally.
• Understand customer requirements through detailed discussions.
• Build rapport and create a premium showroom experience.
• Explain product features, materials, craftsmanship, finishes, and customization options.
• Recommend suitable furniture collections based on customer requirements.
• Assist customers in visualizing furniture within their spaces.

Design Consultation

• Provide furniture layout suggestions.
• Advise customers on:
• Space planning
• Colour coordination
• Material combinations
• Wood finishes
• Upholstery selections
• Styling and accessories
• Help customers create cohesive interior concepts.

Sales Support

• Qualify customer requirements before handing them over to the Sales Executive.
• Prepare preliminary furniture selections.
• Coordinate with the sales team for quotations.
• Follow up on pending customer requirements whenever required.

CRM & Documentation

• Record all customer interactions in the CRM.
• Maintain accurate enquiry records.
• Update customer preferences and project notes.
• Ensure timely follow-up reminders are recorded.

Coordination

• Work closely with:
• Sales Team
• Design Team
• Factory
• Customer Experience Team
• Coordinate sample requests and material selections.

Candidate Profile

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:
• Interior Design
• Interior Architecture
• Architecture
• Furniture Design

Experience

• 5+ years in:
• Interior Design
• Modular furniture
• Luxury furniture
• Home interiors
• Residential design
• Premium retail interiors

Freshers with exceptional design skills and communication may also be considered.
