Infotel is looking for a Senior IT Network Infrastructure & Private 5G Deployment Specialist to join is Connectivity team for North America. The role is based In Mobile Alabama USA.
What you'll doLead fiber and copper cabling projects across plants, hangars and data centersOversee MDF/IDF layouts, racks and redundant network pathwaysEnforce quality control: OTDR testing, loss budgets, copper certification and labelingDeploy and support Private 5G, CBRS, small cells and DASValidate 5G readiness: eCPRI/CPRI fronthaul, PoE++, MEC and radio unit placementHandle Tier 2/3 troubleshooting of radio nodes and fronthaul linksManage CAPEX/OPEX budgets, subcontractors and low-voltage crewsKeep port maps, rack elevations and cable paths up to date in the CMDB
What you bringBachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Science, or equivalent field experience5+ years leading structured cabling and fiber deployments in data center or industrial environmentsHands-on experience with Private 5G/LTE, small cells or DASExperience with xzbcwsv fiber test equipment: OTDR, power meters and VFLSolid knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs and switchingExperience leading vendors and managing budgetsStrong communication skills in English
