Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Travel Editor to lead our travel content vertical. The role requires a strong storyteller with a deep understanding of destinations, tourism trends, hospitality, culture, adventure, and luxury travel. The ideal candidate will drive engaging, audience-focused content across digital, television, and social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead editorial strategy and content planning for the travel vertical.
• Identify and cover emerging travel trends, destinations, tourism policies, and industry developments.
• Create and edit high-quality features, destination guides, travelogues, interviews, reviews, and special reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with tourism boards, airlines, hospitality brands, and travel industry stakeholders.
• Oversee a team of reporters, writers, freelancers, and contributors.
• Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with editorial standards.
• Collaborate with video, social media, and design teams to create compelling multimedia stories.
• Track audience interests and optimize content for digital growth and engagement.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of editorial experience in travel journalism, lifestyle media, or digital publishing.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international travel, hospitality, tourism, and cultural trends.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Experience leading editorial teams and managing content calendars.
• Strong network within the travel, tourism, and hospitality ecosystem is preferred.
• Ability to work in a dynamic newsroom environment and deliver impactful content under tight deadlines.
