Lumicity is partnered with a growing, well-funded startup that is creating novel silicon photonic technology to address bottlenecks in AI processing.
This is a high impact position within the company, where you be responsible for building the software and automation infrastructure that powers characterization, validation and reliability testing of their optical switching platform.
Role: Photonics Test Automation EngineerLocation: Santa Clara, CA - onsite Compensation: Competitive Base + Equity
The skills needed for the role include:5+ years of experience developing software for automated test equipment, optical tests, semiconductor test or laboratory instrumentation.Strong software development skills in Python and/or C++.Demonstratable experience controlling physical instrumentation and hardware through software.Knowledge/experience of test automation development frameworks, such as Pytest or TestStandard.Any experience with Silicon Photonics, Optical Transceivers or MEMS would be highly advantageous in this position.
